How these estimates are calculated

Every figure on this page is an estimate built from your inputs and the simplifying assumptions below.

These figures are illustrative estimates based only on the numbers you entered and the assumptions below. They are not a quote, a forecast, or a guarantee of results.

  1. 1Hours saved per year = manual hours per week × 52 weeks × your automation rate.
  2. 2Labor savings = hours saved × your average fully loaded hourly cost.
  3. 3Other savings = your related annual costs × the reduction you expect.
  4. 4Net annual savings = labor savings + other savings − the annual cost to run the solution.
  5. 5Payback period = implementation cost ÷ monthly net savings, assuming savings start immediately and stay constant.
  6. 6ROI = (net annual savings × years − implementation cost) ÷ implementation cost.
  7. 7Time saved is valued at your hourly cost. In practice it may be redirected to other work rather than reducing spend.
  8. 8Not included: ramp-up time, change management and training, inflation, taxes, financing, discounting, and benefits that are hard to quantify such as quality, risk, or customer experience.
  9. 9Real outcomes depend on scope, adoption, data quality, and how processes change. Treat these numbers as a starting point for a conversation.
